Day at the spa
we took a little trip out to Priory farm equine spa and rehab this weekend. it was great to Lucas working on the water treadmill for the first time. this should really help with his strength and fitness.
Productive week for the horses.
The lovely little grace having her first time under saddle and starting her career as a race horse,
Ruby is back strutting her stuff in the lunge pen after a very long road to recovery. With lot of patience from her owner sue, work from the team at Netherwylde and the support of the Royal Veterinary College, we are seeing her true potential.
Back out to grass for the summer.
The Netherwylde Longhorns look very pleased to be back out after the long winter in.
Winning ways
Congratulations to Tracy Davies and Luca for getting back to winning ways this April, with a first in their section at Bury Farm Equestrian.
Meaning they has now qualified for the BD Advanced Medium Silver summer regionals.
GBPRE Show at Hartpury
We have just got back from Hartpury College with Judaico owned by Howard Guard and ridden by Lauren Bolton after attending the GBPRE show.
It was Judaico’s first attempt at showing and first time staying away at a very busy show.
On the Saturday he did us proud with a second place in the Novice Stallion/Gelding class. The judge commented on how balanced and calm he was in the ring. Then on the Sunday we were up against some very stiff competition in the PRE Stallion/Gelding class in the main arena with twenty horses in the class. He behaved perfectly and performed a very nice individual show. Unfortunately he did not place in the first six but overall we were delighted with the weekend and look forward to heading back next year to take part again.
A new life for Duke
One of our pervious residents has gone to start his life at his new home a the blood bank in Buckinghamshire, with almost 400 other horses. After sadly needing to retire from work with a back problem. 
it is lovely to see so many happy horses in large herds enjoying life. And we wish duke a long and happy retirement.
New season for Judaico
Well done to Lauren Bolton this weekend at Oakland College riding Howards Guards horse Judaico SG
They had a Win in the Prelim and a second in the Novice.
A very good start to the season on his first outing of the year. lets hope the good luck continues.

Ridzert has had a busy two week since joining us with a trip out to the bluebell ride and a go on the water treadmill at Priory farm.
He has settled in well with his new neighbours.
